Imigap Shaping the Face of Legal Discourse in Sri Lanka

We at Imigap are pleased to unveil “What’s New,” a trailblazing initiative launched by President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the BMICH on the 3rd of March. This platform is the culmination of cutting-edge technology and legal scholarship, aimed at empowering Sri Lanka’s youth to actively participate in legal reforms.

Rapidly developed to meet an expedited deadline, our team incorporated artificial intelligence tools to assist in creating a rich visual experience and automate complex processes on the website. The result was a resounding success, marking “What’s New” as the first government website adorned with entirely AI-generated graphics, setting a new standard for digital innovation in public service.

The platform facilitates robust discussion and serves as a repository for legal proposals by young professionals, fostering a community keen on guiding Sri Lanka’s legislative evolution. It also includes a competitive feature to encourage and recognize the best ideas that could pave the way for a new legal era in the country.

Imigap’s involvement in “What’s New” extends beyond software development; it’s a reflection of our pioneering spirit in embracing AI technology to create solutions that resonate with national growth and international standards.
